   Welcome to hohrainforest.com: LAKE QUINAULT

The south western approach to the Olympic national park is located in the Quinault Valley, an hour´s drive from Aberdeen Washington. This entrance to the Olympic National Park abounds with hiking possibilities, and with names likeentchanted valley and Wild Rose Creek the hiker can be sure that he/she is up for abounding natural beauty. Lake Quinault Lodge is also a must see, even if the traveler doesn´t spend the night the grounds lend themselves to picnicing with great views of the lake. If you can feel the adventurous spirit of the first "tourists" in the areas rustic decorations and know that little has been altered since President Roosevelt´s visit.
