The
south western approach to the Olympic national park is located in the
Quinault Valley, an hour´s drive from Aberdeen Washington. This
entrance to the Olympic National Park abounds with hiking possibilities,
and with names likeentchanted valley and Wild Rose Creek the hiker can
be sure that he/she is up for abounding natural beauty. Lake Quinault
Lodge is also a must see, even if the traveler doesn´t spend the
night the grounds lend themselves to picnicing with great views of the
lake. If you can feel the adventurous spirit of the first "tourists"
in the areas rustic decorations and know that little has been altered
since President Roosevelt´s visit. |
